Styling Clip-In Extensions 101
Clip-in hair extensions can be a lifesaver, especially if you’re stuck in that weird, in-between/growing-out phase. They can be a quick fix for a bad haircut and can even transform that bob into long luxurious locks for a special night out. Although we LOVE our extensions, sometimes we can have a little trouble styling them the right way. Here’s some of our fav tips from Totalbeauty.com on believable ways to wear clip-in extensions:
Bouncy with bangs: For girls that are working short hair and bangs, this is a great look to bring out your inner Arianna Grande. Dry your bangs and add clip-in extensions behind each ear to get this playful girlie-girl look. Use the fab Bombay Hair 5-in-1 Curling Wand to style your extensions into bouncy curls, and blend them with your natural hair.
Long Side Pony: This is the cutest—and easiest—style to blend with your natural hair. Pull your clip-ins along with your natural hair to the side and fasten to create a fuss-free pony. Bombay bombshells agree that curly or straight; this style is a great first date look!
Side Bun: For those busy mornings, this look is sure to keep you looking polished and professional. Secure hair into a side pony and wrap it around the base to create a bun, fastening it with a few bobby pins that match your hair color. Clip a faux bun extension on top of your natural hair, and ta-da! A flirty on-the-go style.
Braided headband: Keep that 5-in-1 wand handy, and curl hair and extensions. Pull up hair and secure it with a clip of your choice, leaving out some ends for a tousled look. Add a fake braided hair headband, and pull out some curly pieces to frame that beautiful face of yours. Now you're ready to knock 'em dead, beautiful!
