Bombay Hair Styling Tools are made with the utmost care and quality. To put it simply, we want you to love our Styling Tools as much as we do!

FAQ

1. What is Covered?

All styling tools that have not been delivered to or used outside of North America and are defective from the manufacturing process.

2. My tool has been damaged/dropped or broken?

Our limited warranty does not cover physical damage from normal wear and tear, incorrect voltage supply or failure to follow instructions.

3. How do I start a warranty claim?

4. What is the complete policy?

All original styling tools ordered on September 19, 2022 and onwards are covered by a 180 day replacement guarantee. If your tool is deemed faulty within 180 days of delivery, you will be issued a replacement at no cost. This replacement guarantee does not cover:

(1) Damage due to misuse or abuse, such as incorrect voltage supply, dropping, or failure to follow instructions enclosed in product packaging;
(2) Tampering, such as repair or attempted repair.

All Styling tools over the 180 day period, are then covered by a limited replacement product warranty if it is defective in workmanship or materials. If the tool is no longer available, you will be issued the item closest to your original tool. Tools aged 181+days will be subject to a $15.00 up to $35.00 replacement fee.

The Tamanna Styling set is covered by an additional warranty which waives the replacement fee for these tools if it is defective in workmanship or materials.

For all warranty claims, vaild order information must be provided in order to validate warranty and customer information.

This Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Damage due to misuse or abuse, such as incorrect voltage supply, dropping, or failure to follow instructions enclosed in product packaging;
  • Tampering, such as repair or attempted repair.
  • Replacement units issued
  • Tools shipped or used outside of North America (Canada & USA).

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS ONLY VALID: (1) IF THE PRODUCT IS PURCHASED FROM AN AUTHORIZED SELLER OF BOMBAY HAIR GOODS AND (2) IF THE ORIGINAL HARDWARE ON THE PRODUCT HAS NOT BEEN REMOVED OR OTHERWISE TAMPERED WITH.

ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, OBLIGATIONS, OR LIABILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE (12) TWELVE MONTHS OF THIS WRITTEN LIMITED WARRANTY.

IN NO EVENT SHALL BOMBAY HAIR BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES FOR BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED

Warranty Policy for Styling Tools ordered on Sepetmber 18, 2022 or prior:

All original styling tools are covered by a 90 day replacement guarantee. If your tool is deemed faulty within 90 days of delivery, you will be issued a replacement at no cost. This replacement guarantee does not cover:

(1) Damage due to misuse or abuse, such as incorrect voltage supply, dropping, or failure to follow instructions enclosed in product packaging;
(2) Tampering, such as repair or attempted repair.

All Styling tools over the 90 day period, are then covered by a limited replacement product warranty if it is defective in workmanship or materials. If the tool is no longer available, you will be issued the item closest to your original tool. Tools aged 91+days will be subject to a $15.00 up to $45.00 replacement fee.

The Tamanna Styling set is covered by an additional warranty which waives the replacement fee for these tools if it is defective in workmanship or materials.

All tools must be registered in our warranty program within 7 days of delivery.

This Warranty Does Not Cover

  • Damage due to misuse or abuse, such as incorrect voltage supply, dropping, or failure to follow instructions enclosed in product packaging;
  • Tampering, such as repair or attempted repair.
  • Replacement units issued
  • Tools shipped or used outside of North America (Canada & USA).

5. I am over my 180 days. What can you do for me?

Your tool is still covered by our limited one year replacement warranty. This means tools aged 181+ days will be subject to a applicable replacement fee.

6. What is the complete policy for 3 Years Extended Warranty?

All original styling tools ordered on September 19, 2022 and onwards, alongside the purchase of our "3 Years Extended Warranty" are covered by a 180 day replacement guarantee. Extended warranty can be added within 30 days of your original order date. Limited to customers within the USA and Canada. Excludes styling tools listed as "OPEN BOX". If your tool is deemed faulty within 180 days of delivery, you will be issued a replacement at no cost. This replacement guarantee and our limited warranty does not cover:

(1) Damage due to misuse or abuse, such as incorrect voltage supply, dropping, or failure to follow instructions enclosed in product packaging;
(2) Tampering, such as repair or attempted repair.

All Styling tools over the 180 day period, are then covered by a limited replacement product warranty if it is defective in workmanship or materials. If the tool is no longer available, you will be issued the item closest to your original tool. Tools aged 181+ days will be subject to a $15.00 up to $35.00 replacement fee.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS ONLY VALID: (1) IF THE PRODUCT IS PURCHASED FROM AN AUTHORIZED SELLER OF BOMBAY HAIR GOODS (bombayhair.com & bombayhair.ca) AND (2) IF THE ORIGINAL HARDWARE ON THE PRODUCT HAS NOT BEEN REMOVED OR OTHERWISE TAMPERED WITH.
